A close accomplice of organized criminal Salindu Malshika alias ‘Panadure Kudu Salindu’, has been arrested with ice drugs by the Police Special Task Force (STF).
According to the police, the suspect was arrested in a raid conducted in Alubomulla, Panadura.
Over one kilogram of ice drugs worth nearly Rs.20 million were found in the possession of the suspect.
The arrested suspect is a 31-year-old resident of Dikthuduwa, Panadura.
Information revealed that the suspect is also a close associate of Nilanga, who operates drug trafficking in Sri Lanka from Dubai, UAE.
The suspect has been handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigation.
