The Chinese embassy in Sri Lanka says that 1.55 million syringes of the Recombinant Human Erythropoietin Injections (Epiao) have been handed over to Sri Lankan hospitals before the Chinese New Year.
This is the last batch of China’s essential medical supplies donation to Sri Lanka worth over Rs. 6 billion, which has been coming in since June 2022.
This consignment has been shipped from Dalian Port to Colombo Port in 3,231 packages, 9 Temperature-controlled containers, with a gross weight of 61.32 tonnes.
