Western Province Health Services Director Dr. Dhammika Jayalath has said that a rise in leprosy cases is prevalent in the province.
Speaking at a media briefing held at the Health Promotion Bureau yesterday (24) to mark the World Leprosy Day, Dr. Jayalath said that 69 children from the Western Province were identified as leprosy patients.
