Minister Bandula Gunawardana said the government has taken a decision to discontinue ‘Maga Neguma’ and four affiliated institutions.
Addressing the Cabinet media briefing today (03), he said the decision was taken due to the lack of funds to maintain these institutions.
“All the institutions under Maga Neguma will be dissolved since there is no income to maintain them. Therefore, Maga Neguma and four related institutions will be discontinued under the state enterprise reforms programme,” he said.
