An ancient Ola leaf original copy of the “Mahavamsa” (Great Chronicle) currently kept at the library of the University of Peradeniya was yesterday (July 17) declared as a UNESCO World Heritage.
Director General of the UNESCO was the chief guest of the ceremony.
