Maithripala Sirisena tests Covid-19 positive
Former President Maithripala Sirisena has tested positive for Covid-19, reported say.
He had sought treatment from the IDH earlier today (04) after several symptoms emerged and was tested positive.
According to close sources, the former President has now returned to his home and is under medical treatment.
He is fully vaccinated and sources add that his symptoms are mild.
In a media release, the SLFP states that Mr. Sirisena will not attend public events and political activities until he is well.
