Member of Parliament – Dayasiri Jayasekara says that the new political alliance stemming from the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has decided to back President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The MP stated that no political party has faith in Maithripala Sirisena’s alliances.
He further said : “Today, many people do not believe in Mr. Maithripala Sirisena’s leadership. I saw Lanza’s meeting last week… the alliance they are going to form is going to back Ranil Wickremesinghe. That is where the SLFP is going to support. This is an issue for the SLFPers in the grassroot levels.”
