Police have arrested the main suspect in connection with the recent death of a 16-year-old schoolgirl in Kalutara.
He had been arrested by police in the Hikkaduwa area.

The main suspect behind the death of the 16-year-old found dead after falling from an upper floor of a hotel in Kalutara, has maintained two marriages, police said.
The suspect identified as Gayan works as an individual who seizes vehicles with overdue insurance payments to companies including LOLC.
According to the investigations carried out by the Kalutara South Police under the instructions of OIC Chief Inspector Ruwan Wijesinghe, it has been revealed that the 29-year-old suspect has one wife in Panadura and another in Isuru Uyane, Kalutara.
Meanwhile, Assistant Superintendent of Police Duminda Rajapaksa said that two police teams have been deployed to arrest the suspect.
