A 34-year-old man who was engaged in construction work at a multi-storey building on the Galle Road in Wellawatte has fallen to death from the eighth floor.
Police said the worker, a resident of Karandagolla, died after falling from the eighth floor last evening (13) when he attempted to hold on to a loosely fixed window frame.
The victim had fallen along with the window frame.
The Wellawatte Police are conducting further investigations.
