A three-wheeler driver has stabbed a 43-year-old father of three to death at Bodhirajapura in Werahera, Boralesgamuwa.
The victim was identified as Sudesh Priyaranjana Fernando, the Boralesgamuwa Police said.
Police investigations revealed that the victim was on a phone call last night on the Bodhirajapura Road closer to his residence. The suspect had arrived at the location and stabbed the victim following an argument.
The victim was admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital by his relatives and was pronounced dead about two hours later.
Police believe that the suspect had killed the victim over an affair he had with the suspect’s wife.
The Boralesgamuwa Police are conducting investigations to arrest the suspect.
