Notice has been issued against four persons including Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment – Mr. Manusha Nanayakkara over allegedly evading taxes while working as a Director of a private company.
After taking into consideration a case filed in 2022 by the Commissioner of Inland Revenue, the Colombo Additional Magistrate – Bandara Illangasinghe issued notice and ordered them to appear before courts on April 02.
The case was filed over evasion of taxes amounting to Rs. 8,321,819.
