The Presidential Media Division says that members have been appointed to the National Procurement Commission and the Finance Commission on the directive of President Ranil Wickremesinghe on the recommendation of the Constitutional Council.
Accordingly, Mrs. W. Sudharma Karunaratne has been appointed as the Chairperson of the National Procurement Commission while Warnakulasuriya Ivan Thisera, D. Piyasiri Daranagama, Sumandiran Sinnakandu, and A.G. Pubudu Asanga Gunawamsa were appointed as its other members.
Also, Mr. Sumith Abeysinghe was appointed as the Chairman of the Finance Commission with Mr. Tuan Nalin Osen and Mr. Mayen Wamadevan as other members.
