Aralaganwila police has initiate investigations to apprehend two persons who had robbed gemstones valued over Rs. 05 million, while posing as Army personnel.
Dressed in attire similar to Army personnel and holding arms and handcuffs, they had stopped a businessman travelling on a bike at the Dehiaththakandiya junction in Kekuluwala, saying they wish to do an inspectionග
Under the guise of doing so, they had robbed the businessman.
