The Department of Examinations has announced minor changes to the timetable of the 2023 G.C.E. Advanced Level examination due to the inclusion of Korean Language as a subject.
Commissioner General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara said that the amended timetable is indicated in the admission card provided to the applicants.
He also advised all exam applicants not to use the previous exam timetable, pointing out that some websites may display the incorrect schedule.
“There is a separate section on your admission paper. In that section, the date and time slots for each subject, the subject number and the medium [of instruction] have been mentioned. That is enough. You don’t need to search for anything else about the timetable”, he told the media, commenting on the amended exam timetable.
The 2023 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination is scheduled to commence from tomorrow (Jan. 04) and will be held until Jan. 31.
