A minor earth tremor with a magnitude of 2.7 on the Richter scale has been reported this evening (July 16) between Anuradhapura and Kantale, according to the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau.
The minor tremor had been recorded at around 5.12 pm approximately 41 km east from Anuradhapura.
