India Prime Minister Narenda Modi is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka in August.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who was present at the swearing-in ceremony yesterday (10) of the president and new cabinet of minister’s following the recently concluded elections, extended an invitation to visit the country to President Modi at a meeting held in Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The invitation was accepted and was further confirmed during a discussion with External Affair’s Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, who is scheduled visit in July.
