More bone fragments found at Kokkuthoduvai gravesite
JMO of the Mullaitivu Hospital – Kanakasabhapathi Vasudeva has said that several more human bone fragments have been recovered yesterday (Sep. 07) from the gravesite in Kokkuthoduvai where several human bones were recovered previously.
He added that two pieces suspected as ammunition were also found at the site.
Yesterday was the second day of the second round of excavations.
According to excavation officials, the bone fragments of a complete human body have been recovered so far, with indications that the body was attired in clothing similar to a military camouflage kit used by security forces.
