Multiple places in most provinces of the island will see showers or thundershowers after 1:00 pm today (23), the Department of Meteorology noted.
Fairly heavy rainfall over 75mm is due at several areas in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva, Southern, Western, and North-western Provinces.
Besides, a few showers are possible at certain parts in Western Province and in Puttalam District during the morning hours, a Duty Meteorologist of the Met. Department said.
