MP Dr. Ramanathan Archchuna announced in Parliament yesterday that he would no longer support the Government due to being denied the chance to express his views for 64 days.
Raising a question of privilege, he stated that his inability to speak violates his rights as an MP and emphasized the importance of representing his constituents.
Leader of the House, Minister Bimal Ratnayake, responded that it is the responsibility of the Opposition Leader and other opposition members to ensure Dr. Archchuna gets time to speak.
