A jeep carrying Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Nalin Bandara was involved in a collision with a motorcycle near the Kongasdeniya junction on the Colombo-Kandy main road this morning, according to the Nittambuwa police.
The accident occurred as MP Bandara’s vehicle was traveling from Kandy towards Colombo when it collided with a motorcycle on the road.
Neither the Bandara MP nor anyone in the jeep was injured in the incident.
The motorcyclist, however, was injured in the incident and has been taken to Vatupitivala Base Hospital for treatment.
