MP Namal Rajapaksa has been unanimously elected as the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna’s new national organiser.
The post was previously held by founder of the party – Basil Rajapaksa.
The new appointment was made during the SLPP’s executive committee meeting held today (March 27) at the official residence of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and State Minister D.V. Chanaka communicated this to the media following the meeting.
