The Attorney General today (Jan. 28) filed indictments against Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP – Namal Rajapaksa over the alleged misappropriation of Rs.70 million belonging to Krrish Company.
The indictments were filed before the Colombo High Court by the Attorney General, alleging the misappropriation of Rs. 70 million provided by the Indian real estate company Krrish Lanka Pvt. Ltd. for the development of rugby in Sri Lanka.
Taking to Twitter, MP Rajapaksa had said it was ‘evident that the present government has launched a political witch hunt against the Rajapaksa family.’
