The Elections Commission (EC) says that it has not yet received the names of 223 members nominated for local government (LG) bodies.
EC Chairman – R.M.A.L. Ratnayake stated that political parties and independent groups have once again been urged to submit the names without delay.
Meanwhile, the names of 104 members that were received by the Commission have been published in the Government Gazette as of yesterday (June 13).
