Navy apprehends Indian fishermen near Delft Island
The Sri Lankan Navy apprehended four fishermen from Pudukkottai near Delft Island in Northern Sri Lanka for allegedly fishing across the border.
The detained fishermen are K. Parthiban (32), K. Sarathy (23), K. Murali (42), and N. Ramadoss (52). They, along with their confiscated boat, were taken to the Kankesanthurai Naval Camp, according to the Tamil Nadu Fisherman Association.
