District secretaries will commence assessments of 968,000 appeals and 17,500 objections received for ‘Aswesuma’ welfare benefit programme to make accurate determinations, Finance State Minister Shehan Semasinghe said.
In a tweet, the state minister said the government will ensure that all deserving individuals who require assistance will be included in the Aswesuma welfare benefit scheme.
