New chairman for SLPP appointed

Ven Senior Prof Uthurawala Dhammarathana Thera has been appointed as the new chairman of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).

The Thera replaces Prof G.L. Peiris as the party chairman.
