David Sislen, the newly appointed World Bank Country Director for Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Maldives, met President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat on the 4th.
The meeting was attended by Martin Raiser, Vice President for the South Asia Region, Chiyo Kanda, Country Manager for Maldives and Sri Lanka, and Dr. R. H. S. Samaratunga, Senior Advisor to the President on Economic Affairs.
The discussions were cordial, focusing on strengthening cooperation and support for Sri Lanka’s economic development.
