No new buildings for govt. institutions for 2 years

It is reported that the government has decided to postpone the construction of new buildings for government institutions by two years.

Following the decision, the Treasury has instructed all heads of institutions to obtain the necessary financial allocations to complete the construction of the buildings which are in the final stages of construction.

Meanwhile, the government has instructed the heads of government institutions to empower low-income families, uplift the rural economy, meet the housing needs of the people, develop infrastructure and encourage local production with the aim of providing immediate benefits to the public.
