2 arrested over robbery at Kusal Mendis’ house

Two suspects have been arrested over several burglaries including the robbery at National cricketer Kusal Mendis’ house in Gorakana.

The duo had broken into Mendis’ house last month and stole cash cash and jewellery valued at Rs.315,000.

Police said the both suspects, aged 22, were arrested on Monday and detained for questioning for three day

Subsequently, they were produced before the Kalutara Magistrate and remanded until March 23.
