New upcountry party for the plantation areas! Featured

It is reported that a new upcountry political party is being formed.

It is said that it is being led by MP Aravind Kumar who recently broke away from the Tamil Progressive Alliance and backed the government.

It is singular that he is being chiefly backed by Anusha Chandrasekaran, the daughter of Upcountry Peoples' Front founder P. Mr. Chandrasekaran.

'Sri Lanka Mirror' learns that this new political party, which is yet to be named, will be formed as an alternative to politicians Thondaman, Digambaram and Radha Krishnan, who are currently dominating the political circles of plantation areas.
