Balasingham Rajshankar, the former head of business planning has informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court that the Chairman of Lycamobile Company of England, Alliraja Subaskaran had threatened his life.

He has also revealed to the court that the incident took place after an argument with the Chairman of Lycamobile regarding the arbitrary and illegal financial transactions of Lycamobile in several countries.

Balasingham has informed the court that not only himself but his family members are also being threatened in this manner.

He had also notified court that the Swarnavahini Media Network is also owned by Ben Holdings, a Sri Lankan registered company affiliated to Lycamobile.

Balasingham has also informed the court that he had lodged a complaint with the Metropolitan Police regarding harassment and threats made in England by the Chairman of Lycamobile and his closest senior officials.

In his complaint to the Court, Balasingham Rajshankar has said that he and his family continue to receive death threats from strangers even after he returned to Sri Lanka from Lycamobile after being harassed in England.
The above are related to an anticipatory bail application filed by Balasingham Rajshankar in Colombo seeking bail if the CID prepares to arrest him in connection with an alleged financial fraud at the Gnanam Foundation, founded by Alliraja Subaskaran, Chairman of Lycamobile England.

The OIC of the CID was also named as the respondent in the anticipatory bail application filed by Balasingham Rajshankar through Attorney-at-Law Mayumi Ranawaka.
