Women arrested with Badowita Asanka's drugs

A woman has been arrested with 2,000 packets of narcotics in the Pillawa area in Boralesgamuwa, the Police Narcotics Bureau says.

It is reported that the value of the drugs exceeds Rs. 02 million.

The suspect is a 47 year old resident of Badowita, Mount Lavinia

It is said that the suspect has been arrested based on information received by the Police Narcotics Bureau Inspector Pathum Kumara.

Police say that the suspect is involved in a drug racket by 'Badowita Asanka', a drug kingpin who is currently in hiding in Dubai.
