These protests are scheduled to commence from  near the Viharamaha Devi Park and move towards the President's House in Fort.

As a result, the Special Task Force has been instructed to ensure the security of the Presidential Secretariat, Temple Trees, Prime Minister's residence and Police Headquarters and to provide special security to manage public order.
