Senior DIG Nilantha Jayawardena has been appointed as the Officer In Charge of the Administration Division of Sri Lanka Police.
He previously served as the Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Assistance Services-Central Province and the Head of State Intelligence Services.
The appointment has been approved by the Ministry of Public Security after the Inspector General of Police recommended that he be appointed to this position until a permanent officer is appointed.
