Niroshan resigns from Vasu’s Democratic Left Front
Former MP Niroshan Premaratne, who was recently appointed as the Leader of the Democratic Left Front, has resigned from his posts and party membership.
He had formally informed his decision to the party secretary – Vasudeva Nanayakkara.
In his letter, Premaratne has pointed out that the reluctance of other party members to implement the goals and plans that were previously agreed to, had led to this decision.
