The second coconut triangle will be started in the Northern Province this year on the President’s directive, coinciding with World Coconut Day on September 02nd, says Plantation Minister – Dr. Ramesh Pathirana.
While addressing the media briefing held at the PMC, he said that the initiative will be centred around Jaffna, Mannar and Mullaitivu.
