The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced plans to reduce water charges by 10% to 30%.
This decision aligns with recent reductions in electricity bills.
A committee appointed to review water tariffs is set to submit its report to the NWSDB Chairman soon.
Subsequently, the Chairman will present the proposed adjustments to the subject Minister, who in return will submit them for Cabinet approval.
