A 38-year-old has been injured in a shooting incident last night (Feb. 19) near the housing complex at Ananda Rajakaruna Mawatha in Borella.
He is currently being treated at the Colombo National Hospital.
Police say that according to initial investigations, the victim is a resident of the housing complex. It is also said he is involved in drug dealings and recently released from prison on bail.
Borella police is conducting further investigations.
