Minister Kanchana Wijesekera says that it has been decided to introduce paperless bills & receipts from January to all CEB customers.
This was among several decisions taken during a meeting with AGMs and DGMs in the CEB.
It has also been decided to regulate the fixing of street lamps & operating street lamps.
Meanwhile, outsourced services are to be done with existing staff and work that cannot be completed by the CEB are to be done with the assistance of Local Councils.
