President’s Counsel – K.A. Parinda Ranasinghe has been appointed as the new Attorney General by President Ranil Wickremesinghe in terms of Article 61E (b) of the Constitution of Sri Lanka at the Presidential Secretariat a short while ago (July 12).
His appointment was unanimously approved by the Constitutional Council.
On July 01, also took oaths as the Acting Attorney General.
