Parliament heated over Matale estate incident
Several opposition members of the Parliament protested this morning (22) regarding the mistreatment of a poor family at an estate in Matale district recently.
The MPs had come to the center of the Parliament chamber and protested, displaying placards.
Yesterday, Minister of Water Supply and Estate Infrastructure Development – Jeevan Thondaman, had also issued a clarification over a video footage related to the incident at the estate.
