He was produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate this afternoon following his arrest by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) earlier today.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested Pastor Jerome Fernando after recording a statement today (Dec. 01).
Pastor Jerome Fernando appeared before the CID yesterday as well to record a statement which had taken nearly eight hours.
