Dr. M. M. U. I. Karunaratne, the Director of Polonnaruwa District General Hospital, has been appointed to also serve as the Acting Director of the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital, with immediate effect.
This appointment was made by Secretary to the Ministry of Health Specialist Dr. Anil Jasinghe.
Previously, D. M. S. Samarasinghe, a Deputy Director, had been serving as the Acting Director of the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital.
