President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is expected to make his first official overseas visit to New Delhi after the November 14 Parliamentary Election.
The visit will follow an invitation from Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, who arrives in Colombo today.
Jaishankar’s visit emphasizes India’s commitment to strengthening ties and will focus on Indian-funded projects in Sri Lanka.
