President Ranil Wickremesinghe left the island this morning (Feb.08) for Australia on a state visit.
The Sri Lankan leader has been invited to deliver the keynote address for the 7th Indian Ocean Conference, taking place in Perth from Feb. 09-10.
There has been an uproar among the public regarding the President’s frequent trips abroad and this is the 19th time that he has gone abroad like this since he was elected President.
