President Ranil Wickremesinghe has met with Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the sidelines of the Berlin Global Dialogue forum.
During their conversation, the Heads of State underscored the robust partnership between the two countries, built upon mutual support and substantive political dialogue.
President Tokayev has emphasized the necessity of implementing effective government-level measures to unlock the existing trade and investment potential.
He also emphasized the significance of simplifying visa requirements and establishing direct regular flights between the two nations.
The Kazakh President extended an invitation to President Wickremesinghe to attend the upcoming Astana International Forum scheduled for 2024.
