President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is to engage in an official visit to India around the 3rd week of December, Cabinet spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa said.
Speaking during the Cabinet briefing today (Nov. 26), he said that the exact dates are yet to be finalised.
The Minister added that the President has also been invited to visit China and the ambassador in Colombo has extended the invitation on behalf of the Chinese government.
We are hoping to visit China after the Indian visit, he added.
