President Ranil Wickremesinghe has endorsed the 13th Amendment for a strong local economy, assuring non-interference, the President’s Media Division states.
He has said this during a meeting with professionals in Jaffna.
He urged to take lessons on independent regional economies from countries like Japan, Korea, UK and France.
Emphasizing devolution through laws, the President noted only the Western Province has financial independence & urged each province to actively use 13th Amendment powers for development.
