622 prisoners have been pardoned by the President on the occasion of 75th National Independence Day.
The President has granted a Presidential pardon to prisoners in accordance with the powers vested in him by Article 34 of the Constitution on the occasion of Independence Day.
The Presidential Media Division states that the prisoners in question were released today under the amnesty of the President.
