President Ranil Wickremesinghe engaged in bilateral talks with French President Emmanuel Macron a short while ago on the side-lines of the COP28, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.
According to the PMD, the two leaders discussed the Green Transition of Sri Lanka’s economy and strengthened France’s engagement with IORA.
President Wickremesinghe also invited the French President to join the International Climate Change University initiative.
Meanwhile, President Wickremesinghe met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the United Nations Climate Change Conference.
